If you have never practiced yoga, we recommend you start with either the Iyengar Slow & Mindful Yoga 6-week series, or with the weekly class called Alignment, Intro/Level I. These two classes are also great if it’s been a while since you practiced yoga and would like to review the fundamentals.
If you are not sure which class to take at One Center, please talk to our front desk staff or any of our teachers: they will be happy to advise you.
If you have health problems, be sure to check with your health care provider before taking yoga, so you can describe to your teacher what, if any, restrictions need to be respected. In all our classes, we use props, like bolsters and blocks, to allow students to adjust poses for optimal health, ease, and safety.
