Skillfully combining alignment awareness, strength building, and a meditative mindset in each class, Mili Perez brings a peaceful intention to her teaching, encouraging increased flexibility, strength, and balance. Her soothing voice, touch, and presence create a comfortable, non-judgmental, and safe environment for students. She provides individualized instruction, while maintaining a cohesive class.
"The practice of yoga brings balance to our lives in all levels--physically, mentally, and spiritually, and I just want to share that gift with others." Mili has been practicing for more than 11 years and has studied with several outstanding teachers, including Gabriel Halpern and Matthew Sanford. Her training began with Lillah Schwartz in the 200-hour teacher training at Lighten Up Yoga, and then continued for five years with Aadil and Mirra Palkhivala of Purna Yoga. She is in the process of receiving her advanced 500-hour certification with Lillah Schwartz.
Mili enjoys traveling with her son to allow him to explore the natural world, so that he can learn about nature and animals.
