Randy Loftis is an ardent student, practitioner and certified teacher of Iyengar Yoga. He is a graduate of the Iyengar Yoga Institute of San Francisco (IYISF). Living in California allowed him to take weekly classes with his teachers Kathy Alef and advanced senior teacher Manouso Manos. Along with the weekly classes he has had the privilege to attend workshops with renowned teachers from around the world. His teaching experience includes teaching weekly classes at IYISF as well as workshops around the region. Randy has also been blessed to have studied with the Iyengar family both here in the U.S. and in India. Most recently he spent the month of July in Pune, India studying with the Iyengar family.
Beyond the teaching, practice, and study Randy is dedicated to the Iyengar Yoga Community. He served on the board of directors at IYISF and the Iyengar Yoga Association of Northern California. He served as board president for these organizations. Randy recently moved back to North Carolina with his wife Greta Kent-Stoll, an Ayurvedic practitioner. He has moved here to pursue his career in teaching Iyengar Yoga in Western North Carolina. Randy strives to share with you the amazing practice of Iyengar Yoga that his teachers have shared with him.
